Look for certification

GOTS certifies organic cotton from farm to finished towel; OEKO-TEX Standard 100 confirms the towel has been screened for harmful substances. Look for both on the product page.

Understand GSM (weight)

• 400–500 GSM — lighter and quick-drying; great for the gym and travel.
• 500–700 GSM — the everyday sweet spot: absorbent and soft.
• 700+ GSM — thick and spa-like, slower to dry.

Cotton type matters

Long-staple organic cotton (including Turkish cotton) makes for more absorbent, longer-lasting towels with less linting.
