Unbleached organic cotton cheesecloth in Grade 90 — 44 by 36 threads per inch, a fine enough mesh to catch what looser grades let through. It ships as a 36-inch square so you cut the size the job needs.
No loose fibers and no lint, so it will not shed into food or affect flavour. Wash and dry it and it goes again; cheaper grades break down after a wash or two.
