An outdoor bench whose backrest is carved directly from solid hardwood, so the grain runs unbroken from seat to back. Visible knots and natural splits are left in rather than filled. Shaped with traditional hand tools and sealed in a breathable matte oil that weathers rather than peeling.
One size, in six wood tones: Natural Oak, Teak, Mahogany, Brown, Dark Walnut and Black. The backrest follows the line of the spine and the base is thick enough to sit steady on paving or decking. Outdoors, plan on re-oiling; that is how an oil finish is maintained.
